![]() RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM
Religious Education Classes are held for grades 1-4 on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00-4:00 PM and for Grades 5-8 on Monday evenings from 6:45-8:00 PM at the Ogdensburg School.
REGISTRATION: Families must be registered parishioners of Saint Thomas of Aquin Parish in order for children to attend classes. Registration for classes grades K-8th will be held in the spring prior to the upcoming academic year and must be made by June 30th. CELEBRATION OF RECONCILIATION: This Sacrament is celebrated for the first time in the second grade after the completion of the preparation program which includes family involvement. CELEBRATION OF FIRST EUCHARIST: This Sacrament is celebrated in the Spring of the second grade after the completion of two-year preparation program which includes family involvement. FAMILY INVOLVEMENT: The lessons being taught in the Religious Education Program needs to be reinforced at home during the week. This allows the parents to participate in the child's sacramental preparation. A vital part of the student's spiritual life and growth as a Catholic is regular participation in the sacraments of the Church. All students and their families are encouraged to attend Mass and participate in the Eucharist each weekend as well as on holy days of obligation.

You can also tune in to radio station WSUS (102.3 FM) for Saint Thomas Church, Ogdensburg cancellations.
